PVAWFFs – Support Phase Workshop 20 -21 Oct 2021

House of Sarah – Preventing Violence Against Women in Fiji’s Faith settings Project
Support Phase workshop funded by UN Women – PVAWFFs project was held on the 20-21st October 2021 at the Methodist Women’s Hall, Edenville Suva.
This support phase workshop was for the Community Activists from St. Michaels & All Angels, Matata, St. John’s Parish Wailoku and St. Mark’s Parish, Newtown. A total of 22 participated in these 2 days’ workshop. The aim of this workshop was to educate the Community Activists on the third stage of change, the support phase is about helping people consider alternatives while receiving support and encouragement from each other. It also encourages faith community members to consider how joining power with others can lead help support and bring about positive changes.
