ABOUT THE HOUSE OF SARAH
The House of Sarah offers a listening ear, support and a place of refuge to those who need it most. It has drawn many people to its doors who have deep needs for prayer and counselling. It has also grown to include a strong educational focus for the whole Pacific region, not just Fiji. Workshops are requested and the House spearheads a Break the Silence Sunday each year in November.
ABOUT THE LOGO
The hand is the most frequently symbolized part of the human body. It gives
blessing, it is expressive. According to Aristotle, the hand is the “tool of tools.” In general, it is strength, power and protection. However, it can just as easily mean generosity, hospitality and stability; “lend a hand”. It is used in gestures of greeting and friendship. The colors used reflect the sunrise. For flexibility, colour can be changed for special occasions such as Easter, Fiji Day and Christmas.
