The convention was held at the St Marks, Parish in New Town mainly focusing on the three of the six mataqali’s or clans in the Solomon Community that reside in New Town, Nasinu.
Three of the clans include the Sadro clan, Wai clan and the Orobuli clan.
The convention ended on a high note with a total of 25 participants. Most of these participants expressed their gratitude towards the PVAWFFS Team, our Partners and facilitators for coming down to the community level and setting out a program as such. The workshop was facilitated by the PVAWFFS Team, in collaboration with Revd Tomu Asioli, Fiji Police Force representative, Ms Torika Raguru, Dauveivukei Counselling Support Officer, Revd. Mereti Rabonu and Sarach Carers Support Officer, Christina Tearawa.
